The Angel In The Echoes uses the sound of voices to locate sacrifices for its god. It then mimics the sacrifice's voice and words in order to lure others to it.[1]
Context In The Story[]
The Drear[]
The Angel In The Echoes attacks and kills Hyades Plimpton and his fellow disciples of the Drear.[1]
Faulkner And His Acolytes[]
When Faulkner, Thurrocks, Walter and Jasp enter the cistern in search of the Drear, the angel attacks them. It kills Walter before Faulkner realises what is occurring. He and Thurrocks head back to Jasp in order to warn them and leave, but they arrive too late and Jasp is killed by the angel as well.[1]
